About Sunset Animal Care
Sunset Animal Care began in 2009 in San Francisco’s Sunset District, where I first started the business out of a deep love for animals and a desire to provide thoughtful, dependable care that feels personal.
My name is Ryan, and in 2012 I moved to Ann Arbor, where I’ve continued to grow Sunset Animal Care and serve local families full-time. My goal has always been simple: to give each dog the kind of attention, patience, and respect they deserve, while giving their humans real peace of mind.
I believe great pet care is built on trust, consistency, and an understanding that every dog is different. Some dogs thrive on adventure and movement, while others need a calmer pace, a familiar routine, or a gentler approach. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, needs, and comfort level so they can feel safe, cared for, and understood.
Sunset Animal Care is rooted in one-on-one attention and a calm, reliable approach. Whether caring for energetic dogs, shy companions, seniors, or pets with unique routines, I value creating a steady presence that families can count on.
